01 · Introduction

Welcome to ClawHosters. By using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

02 · Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use our services responsibly and in compliance with applicable law. The following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Illegal activities of any kind
  • Distribution of malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Spam, phishing, or fraudulent activities
  • Violation of third-party rights (copyright, trademarks, privacy)
  • Cryptocurrency mining without explicit authorization
  • DDoS attacks or network scanning
  • Hosting of illegal content
  • Excessive resource usage that impacts other users

Violations may result in immediate termination of your account without refund.

03 · Billing & Payment

ClawHosters uses a flexible billing system based on our internal currency 'Claws'.

Claws are purchased upfront and deducted daily for active services. The EUR to Claws conversion rate varies by package size - larger packages offer bonus credits.

We accept payments via Stripe (credit cards, SEPA) and Coinbase Commerce (cryptocurrencies).

If your balance is insufficient, your instance will be automatically paused. You have 7 days to top up before the instance is permanently deleted.

04 · Refund Policy (No Refunds)

Due to the immediate provision of digital services, we do not offer refunds.

Important: With your purchase, you explicitly waive your 14-day right of withdrawal under EU consumer law, as service provision begins immediately.

In exceptional cases (e.g., service outage due to our fault), credits may be issued - contact us at support@clawhosters.com.

05 · Data Handling & Privacy

The protection of your data is our highest priority.

All data is stored on servers in Germany (Hetzner Falkenstein/Nuremberg) and is subject to GDPR.

We only process data that is necessary to provide our services.

Third-party processors: Hetzner (infrastructure), Stripe (payment processing), Coinbase (crypto payments).

06 · Liability Limitation

Our services are provided 'as is' without guarantee of uninterrupted availability.

Our liability is limited to the amount of fees paid in the last 3 months.

We are not liable for: data loss due to customer actions, third-party provider outages, force majeure, indirect damages, or lost profits.

You are responsible for regular backups of your data.

07 · Dispute Resolution

In case of disputes, we first seek an amicable resolution.

Place of jurisdiction is Germany. German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.

We reserve the right to change these terms at any time. For material changes, we will notify you by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
